The PM6003 was a hard act to follow, but the What HiFi award winning PM6004 moves things forward considerably. The new design means that music has weight and authority, detail and clarity and a degree of transparency not previously heard at this price point. If you love music, you must audition this amplifier!

Marantz have taken a bold step in updating their incredibly popular (and award winning) PM6003. The latest version, unsurprisingly called the Marantz PM6004, has had an overhaul from the previous version.

The main difference is that the amplification section is now a seperated pre and power board, instead of the single integrated amplifier in the PM6003.

The PM6004 retains the same features however - a phono input, A and B speaker switching, and 60W pe channel. Partnered with the CD6004 CD player, this is a great combination.

The PM6003 was a hard act to follow but the PM6004 is an even more impressive amp and unbeatable in this price sector. Separating the pre and power amp boards has extracted even greater resolution and channel separation compared to its predecessor. A great amp and a perfect match to the new CD6004 CD player.
