The Cyrus Stream XP is both a digital streaming device and a pre amplifier for use with a power amplifier or integrated amplifier without a DAC. Please also look at the Cyrus Stream X if intending to use with an existing amplifier with a DAC, or the Cyrus Streamline for an all in one music system.

Designed for use with an existing power amplifier and speaker system, you can simply wire the RCA outputs into your power amplifier for a complete system. Alternatively, you can wire into an Auxhillary input on a standard amplifier using the fixed line outputs.

Using the n-remote included, you can simply and easily take control of your music library from the comfort of your armchair. Music streamed to the Stream XP will be converted via a high qualtiy DAC to provide a stereo sound as close to, and theoretically better, than any CD.

The Stream XP also features both optical and co-axial digital inputs, meaning that you can also wire in multiple digital devices such as a CD player. The USB port on the unit also allows the attachement of an iPod or iPhone.

Please note that you will need a UPnP or a DLNA service running on a computer on your network - feel free to speak to your nearest Cyrus dealer for information.

The Cyrus n-remote is a special two way control unit that makes browsing your networked music library simple, whilst also giving you full control of your streamer at the touch of a button. It also has an infra-red learning capability, so that it can swiftly learn to control other products in your home, making this a truly flexible handset. The direct RF (radio frequency) link from the n-remote provides a robust connection to your streamer, allowing fast and reliable control. Whether music is stored on your home network or iPod, the n-remote makes it possible for you to browse your music library by artist, album, genre or even access internet radio stations.
