The RX3 loudspeakers take the highly musical sound of their predecessors (RS3) and add in greater scale and detail. They are then presented in a choice of real wood veneer cabinets.

The Rega RX3 loudspeakers deliver a fine balance of detail and dynamics thanks to a unique trio of handmade Rega designed drivers and crossover. The newly developed DX-125 bass mid-range driver (using a doped paper cone) is at very centre of the RX range and combines perfectly with the Rega ZRR high frequency and RR125.8 bass unit. These custom units are mounted in a freshly designed cabinet enclosure constructed from 18mm MDF and covered in a choice of three, stunning, real wood veneers. The RX3 will slide effortlessly into any home with their compact dimensions and deliver exceptional performance and musicality.

The RX3's are a small floorstanding loudspeaker with an unusual arrangement of a dedicated side firing bass driver. This allows the bass response and imaging to be tuned by adjusting the distance of the speaker from the rear and side walls like all other designs. However unlike more conventional driver layouts you can also try bass drivers facing towards or away from each other giving much greater placement flexibility and allowing them to work where others may fail!
