Rega Aria Phonostage - Audio T Recommends

  • Independent review by Audio T
The Rega Aria is the latest addition to the Rega range and is housed the same shoebox sized casework as the Brio R and Apollo R. Inside the Aria there are two independent phono stages one for moving magnet and one for moving coil cartridges, this allows you to get the very best performance out of any of todays modern cartridges.

The MM stage in the Aria employs high quality components to ensure that the low level signals from the cartridge are kept perfectly intact.

The MC stage has the provision for selecting resistive input loading of 70Ω to 400Ω and capacitive loading of 1000pF to 4200pF. The input sensitivity can be changed by 6dB, via the back panel.

The Aria is an unassuming looking box, minimalist in design in keeping with the rest of the Rega electronics brand.

Once you get this phono stage connected up and warm you are in for a treat.  Our stores who stock the Aria report that it has an even handed sound with excellent clarity and the ability to assist with the rejection of background noise. The other consistent comment is that it has that rather difficult to explain term  "Musicality" by the bucket load!

Why not see our Brighton Store unboxing their Aria here along with their update with regard to how it sounds
