The Monitor Audio Silver 10 are floorstanding 3 way loudspeakers capable of high output and low distortion, available in a wide range of finishes.

The Silver series from Monitor Audio has been in existence for around 15 years now and the latest models for 2013/14 form the fifth generation.

The entire range offers one of the best dressed products at their price points with either real wood veneer cabinets or High Gloss Black and White as an extra cost option.

The Silver 10 is a true 3 way design and has a new bass driver design to allow greater cone movement with a more rigid continuous diaphragm as seen in the higher end Gold and Platinum series. The tweeter has also benefited from a number of design tweeks to enable better performance at the lower end of its' frequency range. The latest 4" midrange unit also allows better integration of sound with the tweeter.

The net result is a pair of loudspeakers that will play more cleanly with reduced distortion than their predecessors. The Silver 10 offers a full bass response with much greater midrange and  vocal clarity over the other Silver models and retains the detailed but non fatiguing top end.

The Silver 10 from Monitor Audio will make a natural partner for not only high quality home cinema and hifi seperates but also higher end single box and streaming systems.  The latest Silver models are very easy to drive so it will open up the possibility of owning fabulously discrete hifi electronics with floorstanding speakers for greater scale and dynamics in a larger room.
