The OREA Series is designed for home audio components and compatible loudspeakers that would benefit from a low-profile isolation solution.
The isolators can be placed beneath turntables, amplifiers, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, CD players, DACs, streamers and other suitably supported equipment.
Each model is identified by a coloured lower ring and is sold as one individual isolator, allowing the installation to use three, four or more OREAs according to the equipment weight and layout.

Choosing the Correct Model and Quantity
The capacity of an OREA installation is calculated by multiplying the capacity of one isolator by the number being used.
For example, four OREA Bronze isolators provide a combined recommended capacity of 14.4kg, while four OREA Bordeaux isolators provide a combined capacity of approximately 58kg.
The component should remain within the total capacity, but the load must also be distributed appropriately between the individual isolators.

Do Not Rely Only on the Total Capacity
A component may be much heavier at the rear because of transformers, power supplies or heatsinks.
In that case, use an arrangement that places sufficient isolation capacity beneath the heavier area rather than assuming the total weight is shared equally.
Three-Point or Four-Point Support?
Three isolators create a naturally stable support plane and can work particularly well beneath equipment with a predictable weight distribution.
A common three-point arrangement uses two isolators beneath the heavier rear corners and one beneath the centre of the front panel.
Four isolators may be preferable where the component is broad, particularly heavy at one side or already has four well-positioned feet.

Machined Stainless-Steel Housing
Each OREA uses a machined stainless-steel outer housing designed to suit domestic hi-fi systems.
The coloured lower ring identifies the model and capacity without requiring the isolation foot to be turned over during setup.
The low-profile design minimises the increase in equipment height while retaining sufficient space for the internal isolator.
Upper and Lower Contact Surfaces
The upper flange contacts the underside of the equipment while the lower flange rests on the rack, shelf or furniture.
On smooth surfaces, the flange shape can create a mild suction-cup effect. On textured surfaces, it provides a strong friction grip.
The suction effect is not required for the OREA to work correctly.
Direct Contact with the Chassis
Wherever practical, IsoAcoustics recommends positioning the OREA directly beneath the component chassis or base.
This allows the equipment weight to be spread more evenly over the upper surface of the isolator.
The OREAs can often be placed beside the product’s existing feet so the feet remain fitted but no longer carry the main load.
Using OREA Beneath Existing Feet
OREA isolators can also be positioned beneath the equipment’s original feet where direct chassis contact is not possible.
This may concentrate the equipment weight near the centre of the OREA rather than distributing it across the upper flange.
Check that the original foot sits safely and does not slip, rock or extend beyond the OREA contact surface.
Do Not Remove Factory Feet Without Checking
Equipment feet may provide ventilation clearance, electrical insulation or access beneath the chassis.
Only remove them where the equipment manufacturer permits it and where all ventilation and safety requirements remain satisfied.
Turntable Isolation
Turntables are particularly sensitive to mechanical vibration because the stylus is tracing extremely small movements within the record groove.
OREA isolators can reduce vibration reaching a compatible turntable through its supporting shelf or furniture.
All turntable feet must remain securely supported, and the deck should be checked for level after installation.
Turntables with Separate Motors
Care is required with turntables that use an external motor positioned beside the main plinth.
Raising only the turntable may alter the motor pulley height and belt alignment.
A full isolation platform such as the IsoAcoustics DELOS may be more appropriate where both the turntable and motor need to remain on one level surface.
Amplifiers and Power Supplies
OREA isolators can be used beneath compatible integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, power amplifiers and external power supplies.
Heavy transformers can create uneven weight distribution, so the isolators may need to be concentrated towards the heavier side or rear of the chassis.
Ensure that the OREAs do not obstruct ventilation slots and that the equipment retains all manufacturer-specified clearances.
Digital Sources
Compatible CD players, streamers, DACs and other digital sources can also be supported by the OREA Series.
The low-profile construction makes OREA useful where there is insufficient vertical clearance for a full isolation platform.
Check that the component remains level and that cables have enough freedom to avoid pulling the equipment off-centre.
Using OREA Beneath Speakers
The OREA Series can be used beneath compatible loudspeakers where a non-threaded, low-profile isolation solution is required.
When used with speakers, align the IsoAcoustics logos forwards in the same direction as the drive units.
If the speaker would benefit from height or tilt adjustment, the IsoAcoustics Aperta Series may be more suitable.
Speaker Stability Is Essential
Do not use OREA beneath a speaker if the cabinet rocks, overhangs unsafely or cannot be supported securely.
The total capacity and weight distribution must cover each individual speaker rather than the combined weight of the stereo pair.
Logo Orientation
When OREA isolators are used beneath amplifiers, turntables, digital sources and other electronic components, logo orientation does not affect their performance.
When they are used beneath a loudspeaker, position the logos forwards in line with the speaker drivers.
This aligns the directional isolators with the principal movement of the drive units.
No Height or Tilt Adjustment
OREA isolators have a fixed height and do not provide levelling or tilt adjustment.
The supporting shelf or furniture should therefore be level before installation.
Where a speaker requires tilt adjustment to aim its tweeter towards the listening position, consider a compatible Aperta stand instead.
