Arcam rPhono Phono Stage

The Arcam rPhono is designed to replace a built in phono stage or for adding a turntable to your existing system. The rPhono will accept both MM and MC cartridges and has adjustable loading to achieve the highest sound quality possible.

Arcam have employed their 40 years of audio expertise during the design of this new phono stage. They have employed high quality components in a layout that is designed to minimise noise and distortion in tandem with a 4 layer pcb to maximise the effect of a ground plane reducing inter-component noise.

Finally they employ multiple individually regulated low noise power supplies for different sections of the phono stage to help deliver the cleanest possible audio output.

Moving coil users benefit from precision impedance matching using high-quality trimmers instead of discrete steps, while moving magnet users have a wide variety of capacitance options. An optionally selectable low frequency “rumble” filter eliminates the effects of warping or pressing irregularities, which can be present on some vinyl.

The rPhono is a highly effective and simple way to improve the performance of any turntable currently sing a built in phono stage and is sure to delight any music lover.
